TwiSoul ("we," "us," or "our") is an independently operated, invite-only matchmaking platform operated by its founding team (collectively, "the Operators"), individuals based in India. TwiSoul is not a registered company at this time.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Identity data: Full name, date of birth, gender, photographs.
  • Contact data: Email address, WhatsApp phone number.
  • Profile data: City, state, height, profession, passions, partner preferences, and any free-text responses you provide.
  • Usage data: Decisions you make on candidate profiles, match interactions, and session activity.
  • Technical data: Browser type, device information, and IP address collected automatically.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to:

  • Create and manage your TwiSoul profile.
  • Curate and present candidate profiles to you for matchmaking. This includes TwiSoul administrators viewing, reviewing, and accessing your full profile data, photos, and preferences to manually select and assign compatible candidates for you.
  • Facilitate mutual matches and, where both parties consent, reveal contact information (WhatsApp number).
  • Send transactional emails (sign-in links, match notifications).
  • Improve the Platform, analyse matchmaking outcomes, and protect the safety of our users.

The lawful basis for processing your personal data is your explicit consent, provided when you accept these terms. By using TwiSoul, you acknowledge and consent to the TwiSoul team accessing, reviewing, and using all data you provide for the purpose of operating the matchmaking service.

4. Disclosure of Your Data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We may share your data in the following limited circumstances:

  • With your match:When both you and another user mutually choose each other and both tap "Begin," your WhatsApp number is revealed to your match and vice versa.
  • Service providers: We use third-party services to operate the Platform (Supabase, Resend, Google Workspace).
  • Legal obligations: We may disclose your data if required by law or court order under applicable Indian law.

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on cloud infrastructure provided by Supabase, which may be located outside India. By using TwiSoul, you consent to such transfer. We implement reasonable security measures including passwordless authentication, row-level security policies, and HTTPS encryption.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we will delete or anonymise your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Withdraw consent for data processing (this will result in account deactivation as we cannot provide the service without your data).
  • Request deletion of your account by emailing us.

8. Cookies

TwiSoul uses browser cookies and local storage solely for authentication session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

TwiSoul is intended for users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of TwiSoul after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

11. Grievance Officer

In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, the Grievance Officer for TwiSoul is reachable at:

12. Governing Law
